Mainstreeters girls' tennis wins two more today

In a home triangular meet today, the Sauk Centre Mainstreeters girls' tennis team blanked Yellow Medicine East 7-0 before beating a very good Park Rapids Area squad by a 5-2 score.

The Mainstreeters (7-0) have a break in competition until September 6, the first day of school, when they host Melrose Area in the West Central North Conference opener.

The Mainstreeters defeated Parkers Prairie, Wadena-Deer Creek and Benson/Kerkhoven-Murdock-Sunburg by 7-0 scores in all three matches in their home quadrangular today at the high school tennis courts.

Now 5-0 overall, they host Yellow Medicine East and Park Rapids Area on Wednesday in a triangular.
