Mainstreeters fastpitch softball earns come-from-behind win at B-B-E

After falling behind 3-0 early in the game, the Mainstreeters (4-4) rallied for five runs in the sixth inning and held on to win 5-4 over Belgrade-Brooten-Elrosa today.





At Paynesville on Friday, the Mainstreeters baseball team lost 12-8 to a very good Bulldogs team. The Streeters picked up a home run by Brock Fenton, who also earned two RBI and one double.

Streeters softball team wins in 11 innings

The Sauk Centre Mainstreeters softball team beat St.Cloud Cathedral in 11 innings by a 5-2 score on Thursday night at Whitney Park. The Crusaders fall to 2-3.

The Streeters (3-4 overall) have little time for rest, though, as they have a non-conference game today (Friday) at B-B-E at 4:30 p.m. The game will be held in Brooten.

All varsity action for the Mainstreeters scheduled for today is canceled

Streeters baseball, softball both drop conference games vs. LP-GE

Results from action against Long Prairie-Grey Eagle today in West Central North Conference action...

The Mainstreeters baseball team lost 8-4 in a home game against the Thunder today, falling victim to six defensive errors that cost them the game. LPGE's baseball team is now 5-2 overall, while the Streeters baseball team is 0-4. The Thunder have previous wins over Osakis, Melrose, Milaca and NL-S to their credit.

In a road game at Long Prairie, the Mainstreeters softball team lost 7-2. LP-GE's softball team is 2-3, while the Streeters softball falls to 2-4.

In West Central Conference North action, the Sauk Centre Mainstreeters baseball team will host Long Prairie-Grey Eagle at 4:30 p.m.
