Mainstreeters fall to BOLD

 The #3-ranked BOLD Warriors jumped on top 35-0 over the visiting Mainstreeters football team tonight on their way to a 35-7 halftime lead.

The Warriors (4-0) named the final score at 48-7. They remain tied for first place in the West Central Conference with Morris Area/Chokio-Alberta.

The Mainstreeters look for their third win of the year when they travel to Benson (2-2) next Friday night.The Braves lost 24-7 to #8-ranked MA/CA on Friday.

Mainstreeters volleyball wins 3-0 at Lac qui Parle Valley

...the Mainstreeters girls' tennis team won at LQPV by a 7-0 score to move to 13-3 overall. The Mainstreeters volleyball team is 14-0.

At Minnewaska, the Mainstreeters girls' swimming and diving team defeated the Minnewaska Area/Morris Area/Chokio-Alberta Gators 104-81. Tiana Molitor, Alyssa Kohorst and Kendyl Tullis all won individual events.

Mainstreeters girls' tennis thumps Benson/K-M-S

The Sauk Centre Mainstreeters girls' tennis team rebounded from their first conference loss of the year with a convincing win over Benson/Kerkhoven-Murdock-Sunburg by a 6-1 score.

In volleyball action, the Mainstreeters swept visiting BOLD on Tuesday night to move to 13-0 overall and 5-0 in the West Central Conference.

Up next: the volleyball and girls' tennis teams both make the long trip to Lac qui Parle Valley on Thursday in WCC action. It will be their only trip ever to that school for conference matches, as LQPV is exiting the West Central Conference as of the Spring 2013 season to move to the Camden Conference. The Camden Conference sprawls across southwestern Minnesota.

Swimming and diving 4th at Park Rapids

The Mainstreeters girls' swimming and diving team finished 4th out of 7 teams at the Park Rapids Invitational on Saturday with 270 team points. They edged Detroit Lakes (219), Perham/New York Mills (173) and Staples-Motley/Verndale (155).

Up next: a trip on Thursday into the heart of Pope County, when they face Minnewaska Area/Morris Area/Chokio-Alberta at the Minnewaska pool at 6 p.m. for a West Central Conference dual.
