Streeter boys hang with Wildcats

If Sauk Centre had gotten a couple bounces to go their way late in the first half and early in the second half they would have been able to make a run at the New London-Spicer club Monday.
But the Wildcats went on a 14-1 run at the end of the first half and into the second and the Streeters couldn't make up the deficit.

Sauk played great early and led 29-23 before the run. Emmitt Messer, Isaac Winters, Tyler Berling, Bryce Hentges and Kyle Rasmussen had some big buckets for Sauk. Michael Knoblauch hit a three as Sauk was getting good looks down low. More importantly they were getting the roll. Then, for some reason or other, the ball started finding more iron than mesh. That gave the Wildcats an opportunity and they took advantage.

The Streeters will play at Holdingford tomorrow (Tuesday).
