No. 4 Wadena shuts out Streeters

The Mainstreeter volleyball team's win Tuesday over Albany gave them lone possession of first place in the West Central Conference, but they ran into No. 4 ranked Wadena Thursday and were shut down 3-0.

The Streeters played a tough first game that went to 62 points, but it was Wadena who prevailed, winning 32-30. Sauk then lost the next two games by identical scores of 25-14.
Krista Primus had five kills, 7 digs and was 10-for-10 serving. Macy Weller had seven kills and five blocks and Shelby Deters added six kills and six blocks.

Kendra Zenzen chipped in 11 digs and Jena Klaphake led with 15 assists.

The loss dropped Sauk's record to 14-4 on the season.
