Sauk Centre Mainstreeters boys, girls basketball both win at Mora tonight

Girls basketball result: Sauk Centre 66, Mora 47. Maren Greenwaldt canned five three pointers in the first half and the Streeters made seven overall before halftime.

The girls basketball team (11-1, 6-0 WCCN) now prepares for one of their toughest games of the regular season, when they travel to New London-Spicer this Thursday night. The Wildcats are breathing down the Streeters' neck in the conference title race with a 5-1 record. They will look to avenge a 53-49 loss on December 10 in Sauk Centre, their only loss of the year.

Boys basketball result: Sauk Centre 54, Mora 46.

The boys basketball team (8-3, 3-2 WCCN) has a key West Central North Conference match up this Friday night, at New London-Spicer. Both teams reside in Sub-Section 6AA-East, so it will be a game with huge playoff implications as well. The Streeters are still in the hunt for a top four playoff seed.
