Mainstreeters girls' tennis improves to 6-0

In the first match of a home triangular on Wednesday, the Mainstreeters girls' tennis team edged Park Rapids Area 4-3.

They faced Yellow Medicine East in the second match later in the day and blanked the Sting 7-0.

By the way, good luck to the Sauk Centre cross country teams, as they open the 2012 season next Monday at the Morris meet. It will be held at the Pomme de Terre Golf Course, which is located 2 miles southeast of Morris on Highway 9.
