The Sauk Centre Mainstreeters girls' swimming and diving team defeated Minnewaska/Morris/Benson/Chokio-Alberta 98-81 tonight at the Minnewaska pool. Coach Schreiner mentioned a season-best performance by Josephine Mensen in the 500 freestyle race. Her efforts were good for first place.
On the home court, the Mainstreeters volleyball team dispatched a state-ranked Belgrade-Brooten-Elrosa squad 3-1. Game scores were 25-23, 25-23, 9-25, 25-12.
