Mainstreeters girls' tennis rebounds from Tuesday's loss with a narrow win at New London-Spicer - Swimming and Diving edges Alexandria

The Mainstreeters are now 1-1 in the West Central North Conference after defeating New London-Spicer 4-3 on the road Thursday evening.

With the match tied at 3-3, the two doubles team of Callie Rodenbiker and Kathryn Macey clinched the win for Sauk Centre with a 5-7, 6-4, 7-5 win.

Just as exciting...the Mainstreeters swimming and diving teams beat host Alexandria 100-85 in a dual meet tonight. Sophomore Tiana Molitor won a pair of events to lead the Mainstreeters. Molitor won the 50 freestyle in 26.12 and 100 freestyle in 57.09. Jenna Tullis placed first in the 200 freestyle (2:09.26) and 500 freestyle (6:01.89) for the Mainstreeters.

In cross country action at Holdingford, the Mainstreeters girls' squad placed third out of seven teams and the boys took sixth.
