Kickoff at Lac qui Parle Valley high school's football stadium is at 7 p.m. tonight, when the host Eagles and Sauk Centre Mainstreeters will battle in a North/South West Central Conference crossover game.
LQPV high school is located about 10 miles south of Appleton on State Highway 40/291st Avenue. From Sauk Centre, you'd travel through Glenwood and Benson and then take US Highway 12 westbound from Benson as if you were going to Big Stone City/Milbank, South Dakota. Take US Highway 59 south from Hwy 12 at the Holloway turn.
A great shortcut exists that cuts out Glenwood, Benson and Appleton, saving about 10 minutes of driving. It's too complicated to explain in a nutshell, however.
