Under very hot, humid conditions in Belgrade this morning, the Mainstreeters girls' tennis team prevailed in a non-conference border battle over the Jaguars by a 5-2 score. B-B-E and Sauk Centre split the first two matches completed, and the next two finished in the same fashion. The Mainstreeters then clinched the win by taking the last three points.
Now 5-2 overall, Sauk Centre has a break over Labor Day and return to action next Tuesday against Lac qui Parle Valley/Dawson-Boyd for a West Central Conference match up on the home courts at 4:30 p.m.

Tonight's conference volleyball match in Montevideo was postponed due to wet floor conditions at the Montevideo high school. Too much humidity! It will be made up on Sept. 23.
