Sauk Centre Mainstreeters girls basketball wins 83-23 over LP-GE and clinches conference title outright

Now 23-1 overall and 15-0 in the West Central North Conference, the Sauk Centre Mainstreeters girls basketball team nearly quadrupled up on Long Prairie-Grey Eagle tonight, winning 83-23 on the home floor.

The win gives the Mainstreeters sole possession of the 2010-2011 conference championship. It is their first outright conference title in the 21st century. Last season, they shared the WCCN with New London-Spicer, after the two teams split the regular season series.
