The Thunder improved to 16-4 overall and also have a one game lead over New London-Spicer for first place in the conference at 11-2. Sauk Centre's boys basketball team is now 15-6 overall and 9-4 in the WCCN. The Streeters had won five in a row coming into tonight's contest.

Tomorrow night, Friday, the Mainstreeters girls basketball team hosts Long Prairie-Grey Eagle.  LP-GE is struggling this year with a 4-17 overall record and a 2-12 mark in the WCCN.

A quick boys hockey update...Prairie Centre Area is the #10 seed in the 11-team Section 6A, and they will open the playoffs at Breezy Point Arena on Saturday, February 19, at 2:00pm against Northern Lakes.
