Wouldn't you know it? The games keep getting bigger for the Sauk Centre boys basketball team

Make tracks to the Sauk Centre High School on Thursday night, as the Mainstreeters boys basketball team will fight to get into first place in the West Central North Conference. That night, neighboring rival Long Prairie-Grey Eagle visits the home gymnasium for a conference battle. The Streeters are one game behind the Thunder in the loop, so a win would pull them into a tie for first place.
The Streeters will be looking for payback from the season opener on December 3, when the Thunder whipped the Maroon 55-35.

It won't get any easier down the stretch of the regular season for Sauk Centre, as they face Melrose, New London-Spicer, and Albany over the next 15 days.
