Records fall! and pies fly!

Breaking news!

At tonight's home swimming and diving meet against Holdingford, Tiana Molitor broke the pool and school records in the 100 backstroke race.

The 400 freestyle relay team broke the pool record for the second week in a row. Great job!

Cross Country conference meet postponed

Due to wet conditions after days and days of rain throughout central Minnesota, the West Central Conference cross country championships will be held on Wednesday instead of today. The meet hosted by Yellow Medicine East begins at 4 p.m. in Granite Falls.

Swimming and diving team hosts Breast Cancer Awareness night

Come out tonight to support a great cause!

Their West Central Conference meet against Holdingford starts at 6 p.m. tonight.

Ellis advances to girls' tennis section final four

Bethany Ellis won her first two matches at the Section 6A individual tournament in Sartell today. She beat 15th-seeded McKenzie Barth from Long Prairie-Grey Eagle/Upsala-Swanville Area 6-0, 6-1 in the opening round.

In the quarterfinals against seventh-seeded Hannah Freske of Minnewaska Area, Ellis won 6-3, 7-6 (7-2) to land a spot in the Final Four. Her next action begins after 4 p.m. on Tuesday at the Fitness Evolution gym in Sartell.

Mainstreeters compete in the Section 6A girls' tennis Final Four

The Mainstreeters girls' tennis team lost in the semifinal round 7-0 to top-seeded, undefeated and state-ranked Osakis. The Silverstreaks went on to beat Melrose Area 4-3 in a close match to advance to the state tournament for the third straight season. Sauk Centre finishes the season 13-10 overall with only three seniors graduating from the team.
