Junior Laura Hintzen finished fifth individually at the Section 6AA girls' golf tournament on Thursday. She carded a 179 (86-93).
On the boys' side, Dillon Rieland lost a four-person playoff for a state trip.
*Update on June 8 - Laura will tee off at Ridges at Sand Creek Golf Course, at 7:57am on Wednesday, June 16 and Thursday, June 17 in the Class AA state golf tournament. She will start on the back nine.

Best of luck to the Mainstreeters' boys and girls track and field teams at the Section 6A meet tomorrow
Both squads will perform at the Section 6A meet at Moorhead State University on Thursday, beginning at 3:00pm.

Short notes on Mainstreeters' baseball and golf
In Sub-Section 6AA-West, the Sauk Centre Mainstreeters' baseball team was vanquished by the Albany Huskies in the quarterfinal round, losing 9-2. Albany moves on to play #1-seeded Rocori in the semi-finals.
