Michael Knoblauch, a sophomore left-handed hurler for the Mainstreeters recorded 10 outs in a relief appearance Tuesday and struck out all 10. He allowed a hit and a run, but every out he recorded was via a strikeout. The Streeters lost the game 5-2.
Knoblauch was able to locate all three of his pitches - fastball, curve and change up. He struck out the first batter he faced in relief of Tyler Berling and then struck out the side the next three innings.
Knoblauch has a 0.00 ERA in 4-2/3 innings so far this season with 12 strikeouts.
