The Sauk Centre Mainstreeters baseball team picked up their third win of the season at Minnewaska tonight.
Meanwhile, in a home game, the Mainstreeters fastpitch team lost 7-1 to a very solid Minnewaska team. They had an early 1-0 lead after two innings, then suffered a blow when the Lakers plated five unanswered runs in the fourth inning.
Minnewaska Area's fastpitch improved to 8-2 overall with the win.

In golf action, the Mainstreeters' girls golf team took sixth place at the 11-team New London-Spicer Invite today at the Little Crow Country Club. Their top four scorecard brought a score of 431 on the 18-hole course.
Junior Laura Hintzen led the Mainstreeters, finishing as runner-up individually and losing to the medalist (Erin Dingmann of Kimball/Eden Valley-Watkins) by only two strokes.
