Streeters' fastpitch drops a tight game to visiting Foley, stung by Falcons' run in top of the 7th

The Sauk Centre Mainstreeters' fastpitch team fell to Foley in a West Central North Conference game today by a 2-1 score. They had held a 1-0 lead as late as the sixth inning, when the Falcons tied it up.

The Mainsteeters were held to two hits for the game by Falcons' starter Ashley Erickson, who earned five strikeouts in seven innings of work.

At the Albany Golf Course, the Mainstreeters' boys golf team finished seventh with a score of 379 on Wednesday. Team scores were as follows: 1. Sartell 327, 2. Sauk Rapids 328, 3. Rocori Red 331, 4. Albany Purple 338, 5. Milaca 356, 6. St. Cloud Apollo 365, 7. Sauk Centre 379, 8. Rocori Black 383, 9. Albany White 400.

Sophomore Robby Polipnick's score of 82 led the Streeters at the Albany meet.
