In Sub-Section 6AA-West, the Sauk Centre Mainstreeters' baseball team was vanquished by the Albany Huskies in the quarterfinal round, losing 9-2. Albany moves on to play #1-seeded Rocori in the semi-finals.
In boys' golf at Section 6AA, Dillon Rieland advanced to the second round of the tournament, after placing at the head of the pack among individuals not on the top four teams at the meet.
Both Dillon and junior Laura Hintzen will compete at the Section 6AA championship round, which takes place on Thursday this week at Territory Golf Course in St.Cloud.
