At the New London-Spicer Cross Country Invitational, hosted by the Little Crow Golf Course, Sauk Centre Mainstreeters boys runner Jacob Gerhartz won another race, edging West Central Area's Kyle Toms with a final time of 16:59.88. Toms came in with a time of 17:03.0.
On the girls' side, Maren Greenwaldt edged former teammate from Minnewaska Area, Madi Sachs, by a wide margin. Sachs, who now runs for powerful state-ranked Albany, took second (15:41.01). Greenwaldt won the race with a champion time of 15:25.17.
The Streeters boys squad took second place out of 12 complete teams, while the Streeters girls were third out of 11.
