A nice win for Prairie Centre Area in boys hockey action vs. St.Cloud Apollo

The Prairie Centre Area North Stars defeated visiting St.Cloud Apollo (0-1) on Tuesday night, reversing a 4-2 loss at the hands of the Eagles last season.

Obviously it's pretty early to talk about playoffs, but Apollo is in Section 6A with the North Stars, so this will help at seeding time.

The North Stars (1-1) travel to Detroit Lakes to face on Thursday night this week at Kent Freeman Arena. The puck drops at 7pm. The Lakers are 3-1, having picked up their first loss of the year on Decmeber 3 to Fergus Falls 7-2. It was the Otters' season opener.

Both Fergus Falls and Detroit Lakes are two of the top teams in Section 6A.
