Up against the second-ranked team in Class 2A, the Mainstreeters baseball team played a great game but lost 6-2 to St. Cloud Cathedral tonight on the road.
Up next is a home double-header in West Central Conference action against Montevideo next Monday at 4 p.m.
In the May 1 state ranking, Sauk Centre was 44th in Class 2A. Morris Area/Chokio-Alberta came in at #21, while Albany Area is at #22. Benson is ranked 37th.
