The Dutchmen, who finish the season 9-7 overall, had only one hit in the entire game. The Mainstreeters got six hits off of four different Melrose Area pitchers.
Final score: Sauk Centre 6, Melrose Area 3. The Mainstreeters, now 7-10 overall, play next at 5 p.m. on Monday in St. Cloud. They face the loser of Friday's Pierz vs. Little Falls winner's bracket game.
