The Section 6AA playoff game between Sauk Centre and Minnewaska was rained out Tuesday and rescheduled for Wednesday at 2 p.m. at Dick Putz Field in St. Cloud.
Sauk centre will send senior Patrick Knoblauch to the mound against the Lakers, who swept the Streeters in a doubleheader earlier this year (3-2 and 7-3). Minnewaska will counter with sophomore hurler Jake Paulson.
Knoblauch is coming off a 6-inning outing over Melrose in which he allowed just one hit. The Streeters defeated the Dutchmen in an elimination game 6-3 and then pounced Pierz Monday 9-0 behind 14 hits from the offense and a 3-hit shutout from junior right-hander Josh Buschette.
The winner of Wednesday's game will play again at 7 p.m. against No. 2 seeded Little Falls. The Flyers lost 1-0 to top-seeded St. Cloud Cathedral on Monday. The winner of that game will play Cathedral on Thursday and have to beat them twice for a berth into the state tournament.
