The Sauk Centre volleyball team kept pace wit the rest of the field Tuesday with a 3-0 win over Long Prairie-Grey Eagle.
Sauk won 25-20, 25-16 and 25-22. Since losing their first game against St. Cloud Cathedral last Thursday, the Streeters have won 14 consecutive games (they went 8-0 at the Perham tourney on Saturday).
Macy Weller led with 10 kills Tuesday and Kendra Zenzen and Krista Primus each added six each. The Streeters did a great job at the net as well, recording 16 ace blocks. Kali Peschel and Weller each had four to lead the team.
Jena Klaphake and Lexie Berscheit split setting duties and both had 16 assists. Primus led the defense with 12 digs.
The win improves the Streeters to 8-2 in WCC play and gives them their 20th win overall (20-5). They are currently tied with Mora, St. Cloud Cathedral and Albany for first place, depending on what the other teams did tonight.
Sauk plays at home Thursday against Foley.
